I organised and managed a successful Bollywood fashion show in aid of British Heart Foundation. This was a well attended event. The fashion show was an opportunity to show case some of the materials which I intended to use as part of my final degree show and also a opportunity to showcase my Eastern cultural roots and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This was part of the University of derby Award.
The University of Derby Award allows you to develop and maximise the benefits of activities undertaken in your spare time such as volunteering, paid work or running your own business, and through a series of University of Derby Award workshops, helps you develop and demonstrate graduate skills and experience employers need.
